What is your background outside of geocaching?
As long as I have been caching, I have worked in a house depot. This is very good for capturing some offers on a fun container or ingredient that I need for a new cache. Outside of work, I volunteered at Animal Rescue and helped deliver a cat to the veterinarian for the spay and neutral project for cats that were lost and abandoned. In addition, I am a boring man who is quite typical who spends most of his time playing video games or scanning for new geocoin for my collection.
How and when did you hear about Geocaching?
December 21, 2021, I came out and found my first Geocache. That was after scrolling social media at lunch break, I saw a video of a man finding a cache … at that lunch break I downloaded the application and saw about 12 in my city. My first trip was to the baseball stadium cache that made you solve the coordinates that I had with DNF because they did not understand the coordinates at first. My next effort is micro in a local park. Is a fairly fast time and I am addicted. From there, I tried to get everything within 30 miles to better understand the various challenges offered by Geocaching.
Only after I got to Quincy Illinois but I really experienced a unique variation and cache. Kill the way! And Luckycharmer really fills the map with various difficulties, terrain, and unique containers. They use many creative methods for this. I still do it as much as possible and have a long road. Types of Hidden Cache that works Extra for Variation very helpful to keep the game fun and makes us want to keep going out!

You are part of the Geocaching duo called Curiocabiniteers. Can you tell you more about your antique shopping adventure when geocaching?
Curiocabiniteers is a navitator and myself, Levicol. We meet at work and our expertise is very different. This is made for a great team.
Geocaching is often about the goals we visit, the scenery we see, and the experience we collect along the way. To Curiocabiniteers, we go further in the search for our treasures by pairing our caching with antique shopping along the way! Not only that is a good way to stretch your feet on a long journey or wait for rain suddenly, this is a good way to find the uniqueness and unique collections for our curio cabinet at home!
Many fun items enter the Swag Geocache system, but we each have the main items we are looking for. I collected antique lighters and navitator collect mini perfume and oil lamps. Of all our favorite seizures, I have to go with a lava lamp floor lamp that I found. For Navitator, their favorite findings are the cabinet that we found in Iowa.
Your new Geocache GCAEZD2 is displayed as Geocache of the Week. You previously shared that this cache was inspired by the gadget cache contest. How does this event inspire you as the cache owner?
Caching and Campfires are my first Geocaching event that I attended. It will always hold a special place in my heart for that.
When we returned to lunch break, we had to try some great gadget cache. These are some of the first whole gadgets that I have done and I know I want to make it myself. I like all the creative cache varieties but the gadget is always the best!
Events such as Caching and Campfires and MWGB also help strengthen the best part of what Geocaching offers: This is Cache! I am very introverted but meeting another cache and sharing stories is the best part of any event. Sitting around a campfire among people who think similar can not be defeated!

What, in your opinion, make an extraordinary geocache?
In the end, it doesn’t matter if the cache is large or small, expensive or cheap. The most important thing is the theme. Every memorable cache that I do has a kind of theme. Micro that looks like other things, canned ammunition with paint, goat statue, literal waste from the side of the road put together to make puppies. Only a little something to help break find 300 micro silver. Almost every favorite point that I give is something with a little spark of uniqueness.
Do you have tips for hidden new geocache out there?
Hiding Geocache is for everyone! In the end, the most special part of me as an accompanist … is that I am not special! I just applied a little effort and reflected ideas from friends that I had made such as Dinkinflicka392 who were not afraid to give constructive criticism. None of my cache took certain skills or intelligence (lucky for me). I must have a lot of fillers to help PAD numbers and make it worthy to visit my small town in the middle of the place, but in the end, people play for favorite cache favorite.
So when hiding, think about what you like the most in the cache. Maybe it’s a theme like a pirate or super hero? Maybe you like the view on the lake? A good puzzle to confuse the cache like me? Whatever is really exciting you, get it. Think about the coolest version of your favorite things that you can and have!
I like a unique container so I hunt for fun. From there, I continued to reflect ideas from the team and my friends until I made it happen. I must have a lot of efforts and failed changes, but I am stubborn. I was determined to make my vision alive. I really ruined the material, sticking my fingers together, and must really cancel many efforts. Haxtons are mostly united by hot glue guns, spray foam, and a number of random screws. There are many people with any artistic skills or talent can do much better than me. But this is my cache. That’s what I can do.
I follow what I like and what I want to see in the world. That is the most important thing as a cache hunter. Micros can be great, but showing your own heart in the cache is what makes it a favorite. I like to really like what I have to contribute, but even if no one else will like it, I will be proud of my project.
