The Geocache of the Week combines the history, sightseeing, and a little imagination for a series of harboring medieval mysteries through the city of Bruges.

The Cricri010 cache owner gets nearly 17,000 favorite points for their attractive and informative cache throughout Belgium. Their new cache series, which is closer to Memling, brought Geocachers in an adventure through Bruges’s historic city to help the famous 15th century painter, Hans Memling, discovered missing works for their great work, Temple of St. Ursula. Geocaching journey comes to the Grand Finale in 8 closer to the Bonus Memling (GCAZPB6).

In every stop, Geocachers must solve the puzzles to restore one of the missing parts of the Memil Temple. Experienced Geocachers can recognize some of the design of the puzzles, but unexpected bends are waiting … once in the last stop, it’s time to help memling collecting the pieces together -the same order! Only then the temple is finished and the notebook is revealed.

After being assembled, Geocachers can open the temple to access the notebook. But that’s not all! Curious visitors can admire artifacts from memling life, sort out a tracking collection, and have an option to buy wood coins € 0.50 as souvenirs.

This series is part of a closer experience with Memling, created by Musea Brugge, featuring a Memling inheritance at Bruges.

“I want to create a geocaching experience that lives history, especially for children and families. Hans Memling is one of the most iconic painters Brugus, and the story offers great opportunities to combine art, local heritage, and adventure.” – Cricri010

Cricri010 shared a little wisdom to prospective owners and praised those in the Geocacher community who inspired them.

“I’m like to encourage others to be bold and creative. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box. It can really deeply the experience for players. And don’t understand the joy it brings to people -Geocaching has the power to connect and inspire in UNEXPECTED WAYS … by many amazing cache owners in belgium and abroad, especially those who integrate craftsmanship, storytelling, or immersive experiences into their hides … the community’s enthusiasm truly fuels my drive to continue to innovate

Good word, Cricri010!
